How We Work

1. Schematic Design Phase

“Creativity meets functionality,” the design culture that we embrace here in Landart. Our projects commence with the understanding of the objectives, priorities and requirements of our clients. A dynamic space is born via assessing the existing sites and familiarising its characteristics, as this affects the design and space planning. A preliminary design proposal, which includes conceptual and design ideas, interior space planning, furniture proposals and colour schemes, is presented to our clients for comments and approval prior to proceeding with the next phase of Design Development.

2. Design Development Phase

Upon receiving approval from clients, we work closely with the relevant project consultants on the feasibility and compatibility of the existing environment, structural and overall aesthetic values throughout the design development phase. At this phase, preparation of working drawings and documents, supporting detailed drawings, materials selection and bills of quantities are provided to our clients. All drawings and proposals are reviewed and approved by clients prior to construction. A preliminary cost estimation of total interior fit-out works are submitted to the clients for approval.

3. Tender Negotiation, Award and Pre-Construction Phase

We assist and support clients in achieving negotiated fees through tender evaluations for total interior fit-out works as well as selections of contractors who are suitable to undertake construction works.

4. Design Implementation and Supervision Phase

We oversee the project by providing information and solutions to relevant contractors during the implementation phase, and to monitor work progress during the contract period. At this phase, we conduct supervisions and inspections at periodic intervals to monitor the quality of workmanship.
